Questions about plans

Does Sugo have a free plan?

Yes. Sugo's free plan has no time limit and does not ask for a card. It includes unlimited saved recipes and pantry items, 25 link imports plus 2 photo or video imports a month, hands-free cook mode, one cookbook, one meal plan, and cook party with one friend.

How much does Sugo cost?

Sugo has two paid plans. sugo+ is $7.99 a month, or $59.99 a year, which works out at $5.00 a month. famiglia is $14.99 a month, or $119.99 a year, which works out at $10.00 a month. Yearly billing saves 37% on sugo+ and 33% on famiglia.

How does the free trial work?

Paid plans start with 7 days free. You are not charged during the trial, and it becomes a paid subscription when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. You can cancel during the trial and keep using Sugo on the free plan.

How do I cancel a Sugo subscription?

If you subscribed through the App Store, cancel in your Apple account settings under Subscriptions. If you subscribed directly from Sugo on the web, cancel from your account or email hello@sugo.kitchen. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep the plan until the period you have already paid for ends.

What happens to my recipes if I cancel or downgrade?

Nothing is deleted. Sugo does not remove your saved recipes because a subscription ended. Features that belong to a paid plan stop working and your limits go back to the free plan's, but your recipes, cookbooks, pantry, and notes stay in your account.

What is the difference between sugo+ and famiglia?

sugo+ is built for one cook: higher import limits, unlimited cookbooks and meal plans, the real-time voice sous-chef, recipe remixes, and AI cover art. famiglia adds shared cooking for up to 20 people in one household, with a meal plan, grocery list, and pantry everyone can edit, plus unlimited link imports and remixes.

Can I share a Sugo subscription with my family?

That is what famiglia is for. One famiglia subscription covers a household of up to 20 people, who share a meal plan, grocery list, and pantry, and can all edit them. sugo+ covers a single account.

Which devices does Sugo run on?
